Rowbed (the "App") is licensed to you by Haema Labs ("we", "us") under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (the "EULA"). These Terms supplement the EULA. If they conflict on a licensing matter, the EULA controls. By installing or using the App you accept both. If you do not accept them, delete the App.

Frost dates in the App come from NOAA 1991–2020 climate normals for the weather station nearest the ZIP code you enter, or from dates you type yourself. A "last spring frost" date is the date by which there is a 50% chance the last freeze has already happened. Half of all years have frost after it. Planting windows, harvest estimates, spacing and companion notes are compiled from public university extension guides and general square-foot-gardening practice.
All of this is general information for planning. It is not agricultural, horticultural, legal or professional advice, and it does not account for your microclimate, soil, weather, seed variety, pests, disease or care. You are solely responsible for deciding what, when and where to plant, and for watching the actual forecast. We are not liable for crop loss, plant damage, wasted seed, wasted labour or any other loss that follows from relying on the App.
Rowbed does not tell you what is safe to eat. It is a planting planner. It does not say which parts of a plant are edible, how to prepare them, or whether any plant, variety or preparation is safe for you, your children or your animals. Plants can be toxic in some parts, at some stages, in some varieties, or for some people. Before eating anything you grow, identify it yourself and check a current, authoritative source. Never eat a plant on the strength of what this App shows you.
The plant database is compiled by hand from public sources and may contain mistakes, omissions or figures that do not fit your region or variety. Where sources disagree we show a range. Tell us about errors at the address above; we correct what we can, but we make no promise that any figure is accurate or complete.
Planting, harvest, frost and trial reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They can fail to appear if notifications are turned off, the device is off or in Low Power Mode, the App has been deleted or not opened for a long time, or iOS limits are reached. Do not rely on a reminder as your only signal for a time-critical task.
Everything you enter is stored on your device. We have no copy. Deleting the App, resetting the device or a failed device migration removes your data permanently unless you have exported a backup from Settings. The backup file carries every bed, planting, note and harvest, but not the photos in your journal: those stay on the device and are not exported. Keeping backups is your responsibility.
Rowbed Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store. Prices are shown by the App Store in your local currency at the time of purchase. The yearly plan is an auto-renewing subscription: it renews at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or current period. Cancel any time in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. A free trial, where offered, is available once per Apple ID; any unused part is forfeited when you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, not by us.
"Lifetime" means the lifetime of Rowbed on the App Store: the one-time purchase unlocks Pro for as long as the App is offered and supported, on devices signed into the same Apple ID. It is not a promise that the App will be available forever, and it does not transfer to other people.
What is free stays free for any version of the App you have installed: beds, plants, planting dates, companion warnings, reading everything already in your journal, and backups are not behind the paywall, and we will not move them behind it in the 1.x series. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policy; nothing in this section limits statutory rights of withdrawal or refund that apply where you live.
Use the App for personal, non-commercial garden planning. Do not copy, resell or redistribute the plant database or frost data as a product, interfere with the App or its services, or use it in any way that breaks the law or the EULA.
The App, its design and its compiled databases are ours or our licensors'. Frost normals are public data from NOAA; plant figures are compiled from public extension guides, which remain the work of their authors. Your own entries, notes and photos are yours.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that dates and figures are correct for your garden.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost crops, lost profits, lost data or lost time, arising from or related to the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 40, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where the law of your residence gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights are not affected.
We may update the App and these Terms. Material changes will be noted in the App or on this page with a new effective date; continued use after that date means you accept them. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may end support for the App with reasonable notice on this page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes go to the competent courts of Seoul, Korea, unless the law of your residence requires otherwise.
